The President of France to his Iranian counterpart: You must exploit the discussions to achieve a sustainable calm

The French President urged Emmanuel Macron His Iranian counterpart Masoud Pezeshkian in a phone call on Saturday, to benefit from the discussions that began with the United States in Pakistan, for investigation "Sustainable de-escalation"

Macron wrote on the X platform that he invited Pezeshkian to… "Taking advantage of the opportunity presented by the talks that began in Islamabad to pave the way for a sustainable de-escalation"

The French President confirmed "The need for Iran to restore freedom and security of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz as soon as possible"noting that "France is ready to participate".

He also emphasized "The importance of fully respecting the ceasefire, including in Lebanon".
