This is in a step aimed at strengthening the culture of volunteer work and raising the efficiency of the emergency response system within the Two Holy Mosques, in line with the objectives of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
Ambulatory volunteering to serve the guests of God
This framework comes to organize emergency volunteer work within an integrated system that ensures unification of procedures and integration of efforts between volunteer agencies, which contributes to achieving the highest standards of quality and safety in serving guests. Rahman.
The Authority explained that the framework specifies the general conditions for the participation of volunteer associations, which include that the volunteer entity must be officially accredited and registered with the competent authorities.
The team must include licensed health practitioners or hold approved specialized certificates, such as the Life Ambassador (BLS), in addition to full compliance with the instructions of the Saudi Red Crescent Authority and the General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques.
Associations Ambulance
The Two Holy Mosques Care Authority stated that the participating ambulance associations bear the responsibility of providing manpower and medical and first aid equipment, in accordance with what is agreed upon with the Saudi Red Crescent Authority, to ensure the readiness of the field teams and the effectiveness of the response in various circumstances.
The Authority invited the volunteer associations wishing to participate to submit an official application that includes the team’s data, specializations, areas of work, and members’ names, via the following email: Volunteer@gph.gov.sa.
She stressed that this framework reflects her continued keenness to develop the service system within the Two Holy Mosques, and to strengthen partnerships with national authorities, in a way that contributes to improving the experience of the guests of God and achieving the highest levels of safety and care.
