Dubai Polo Gold Cup draw today

The Supreme Organizing Committee of the Dubai Polo Gold Cup Series, which includes six tournaments, will hold a press conference at 10 am today, in the “Abgra Grand” Hall at the Al Habtoor Polo and Equestrian Hotel and Resort in Dubai.

The conference will witness the presence of the Chairman and members of the organizing committee, team heads and players, in addition to the sponsors, and will include the draw ceremony for the Dubai Silver Cup, in which five teams classified as the “Handicap 20 Joules” will participate, namely: the Emirates Team led by Her Highness Sheikha Maitha bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Al Habtoor led by Mohammed Khalaf Al Habtoor, Jahangiri led by Mohammed Jahangiri, Bangash led by Haider Bangash, and the Dubai Wolves led by Habtoor Al Habtoor.

The President of the Polo Federation and Chairman of the Supreme Organizing Committee, Mohammed Al Habtoor, expressed his happiness at the launch of this year’s tournaments with the Dubai Silver Cup, and the participation of five high-ranking teams. He said in press statements, “The tournament achieves the goals of the federation’s strategy, is consistent with the aspirations of UAE sports, and is an important step before hosting the Polo World Cup for the national teams in December 2026.”

He added: “I congratulate the presidents and members of the clubs, players and fans of the game on this occasion, and I hope that the competitions will be full of excitement and enjoyment for everyone.”
