Obliging government agencies to offer movables through the electronic Etemad auction
The Ministry announced Approvalfor government agencies to carry out the offer and sale processes in a complete electronic manner, starting from entering data on movables and pricing them, through to advertising and receiving bidders’ offers, and even awarding and issuing invoices electronically.
The Ministry said: The obligation to offer through the platform contributes to achieving the principle of equal opportunities between individuals and the private sector, and enables everyone to view and participate in government auctions with ease and clarity, which enhances fair competition and ensures optimal use of public assets.
And longer "Etimad Auction" One of the main services on the Etemad platform, which aims to facilitate the procedures for selling government movables and increase the efficiency of their disposal, in line with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 in developing public financial management and enhancing transparency in government transactions.
