The first batch of the cargo of the “Mohammed bin Rashid Humanitarian Ship” enters Gaza

UAE humanitarian aid convoy No. 272 entered the Gaza Strip, as part of Operation “Gallant Knight 3,” carrying 387 tons of food parcels. It is the first shipment of the Mohammed bin Rashid humanitarian ship to enter the Strip.
The Mohammed bin Rashid humanitarian ship, which arrived at the port of Al-Arish last week, carried food aid directed to meet the urgent needs in Gaza, including “10 million meals” provided by the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives, as part of the UAE’s ongoing efforts to enhance food security and support the most affected groups.
The media coordinator for Operation “The Gallant Knight 3” in Al-Arish, Muhammad Al-Kaabi, said: “The UAE humanitarian aid team is working in the city of Al-Arish day and night, around the clock, to ensure that aid is delivered to those who need it in the Gaza Strip as quickly as possible. The team has made great efforts to unload, unload and prepare the cargo of the Mohammed bin Rashid humanitarian ship since its arrival in Al-Arish, so that today the first batch of its cargo will enter Gaza a week after the ship’s arrival.”
The entry of the convoy is an extension of an integrated logistical work system, supervised by the Emirati humanitarian aid team in the city of Al-Arish, starting with loading and unloading the ship’s cargo according to organized operating procedures, then transporting the shipments to the Emirati humanitarian aid logistical center in Al-Arish, to complete the stages of technical dealing with them, as the team works day and night and around the clock, to ensure speed of completion, accuracy of procedures, and safety of materials.
In the logistics center, the packages are inspected, sorted, and ensured their safety, with any damaged packages repackaged within precise standards, taking into account the quality and suitability of the content, before the aid is stored inside the warehouses, according to its classification and quality, in a way that ensures ease of preparation and speed of response to field needs.
After completing the examination, sorting and storage stages, the food supplies are prepared within the humanitarian supply route to be transported successively to the Gaza Strip via UAE humanitarian aid convoys, as part of ongoing efforts to secure relief support and meet the basic needs of our Palestinian brothers.
Operation “Gallant Knight 3” continues its humanitarian efforts to support the Palestinian people, through an integrated relief system that includes the operation of land convoys, airlifts, and sea freight, and the implementation of relief, health, and food projects and initiatives, which reflects the UAE’s firm commitment to supporting our brothers and alleviating their suffering.
