Figures: Gold prices jump to their highest levels in a week

Gold prices reached their highest levels in a week, and Silver in spot transactions rose 6% to reach $76.99.
Platinum increased 6.7% to record $2286.09, and palladium rose 4.8% to reach $1717.33 per ounce.
