The United Nations warns of the worsening situation in Venezuela and calls for dialogue


The Secretary-General of United Nations Antonio Guterres expressed his deep concern about the possible worsening of instability in Venezuela In the wake of the US military operation in the country.
In a speech delivered on his behalf by his Undersecretary for Political and Peacebuilding Affairs, Rosemary DiCarlo, before the Security Council, he called on all actors in Venezuela to engage in a comprehensive democratic dialogue that allows all sectors of society to determine their future, through full respect for human rights, the rule of law, and the sovereign will of the Venezuelan people.
