"Trends" and"CARI" The Argentinean discusses developments in scientific research and artificial intelligence

Abu Dhabi, 7 January / WAM / The Trends Center for Research and Consultation organized a panel discussion with the Argentine Council for International Relations (CARI), which discussed a number of issues related to developments in scientific research, applications of artificial intelligence, and the prospects for research partnerships and exchange of experiences between international research institutions.

Within the framework of promoting international research dialogue and examining opportunities for knowledge cooperation.

The “Trends” team in the dialogue session, which was held at the center’s headquarters in Abu Dhabi, was headed by Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Al Ali, CEO, while the Argentine Council for International Relations was represented by its president, Dr. Francisco Santibañez, with the participation of a number of Trends researchers.

The panel discussion addressed the rapid transformations in the global scientific research environment, the growing role of artificial intelligence in supporting strategic studies, data analysis, and policy making, in addition to the ethical and regulatory challenges associated with employing these technologies in the research and intellectual fields.

Dr. Muhammad Al-Ali stressed the importance of building research partnerships that contribute to producing in-depth knowledge that responds to rapid geopolitical and technological transformations, noting that artificial intelligence has become a pivotal tool in developing scientific research and enhancing its efficiency, provided that it is employed within clear scientific and ethical frameworks.

For his part, Dr. Francisco Santibañez stressed the importance of cooperation between think tanks in Latin America and the Arab region, considering that the exchange of research experiences and the integration of visions contribute to a deeper understanding of common international challenges and open new horizons for cooperation in the fields of strategic studies and international relations.

The panel discussion witnessed a dialogue focusing on applied experiments in employing artificial intelligence in future studies, analyzing public opinion trends, and supporting decision makers, in addition to reviewing examples of research projects implemented by the center in cooperation with international partners.
