المملكة: Umm Al-Qura University’s e-reciter offers 3,424 hours of Quranic education during 2025

Record read Umm Al-Qura Electronic University has a remarkable global presence during the year 2025 AD, confirming its pioneering role in teaching the Holy Qur’an correct recitation in accordance with the provisions of Tajweed, through an integrated electronic educational system that relies on immediate correction of the recitation, under the supervision of an elite group of specialized reciters and teachers, and using the latest distance education technologies.

Statistics showed that 15,201 male and female students benefited from reading services, representing 88 countries around the world, distributed across the continents of Asia, Africa, Europe, North and South America, and Australia, a clear indication of the widening scope of global spread and the confidence of the beneficiaries in the quality of the programs provided.

Efficient teachers

He supervised The educational process80 male and female teachers with qualifications and experience in teaching the Holy Qur’an provided 3,424 educational hours during the year, while the number of pages read and corrected reached 23,229 pages.

The Dean of the College of Da’wah and Fundamentals of Religion at Umm Al-Qura University, Dr. Abdullah Al-Kathiri, explained that these indicators reflect the extension of the university’s scientific role in serving the Holy Qur’an and disseminating its sciences, stressing that electronic readers have succeeded in delivering the teaching of the Book of God to various countries of the world according to a well-established scientific approach, while being careful to employ e-learning in a way that guarantees the quality of educational outcomes and accuracy of performance.

This achievement comes within the efforts of Umm Al-Qura University in harnessing modern technologies to serve the Sharia sciences, and enhancing its scientific presence globally, in line with its academic mission, keeping pace with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030, and reflecting its Arab and Islamic depth in serving and disseminating the Holy Qur’an.
