المملكة: Pictures: Jeddah’s children celebrate Founding Day in Saudi uniforms and identity colors

In a scene full of joy and pride, the children participated with reverts , embodying a vibrant image of the national identity that is transmitted from generation to generation.
The event arenas were covered in the colors of dresses, robes and headbands, while the girls wore traditional embroidered costumes, in a painting that reflects the young people’s connection to the history of their homeland and their pride in its roots extending back three centuries.
Foundation Day Celebrations
The attendance was not limited to the festive appearance only, but extended to all corners of the earth. Interactive and designed specifically for children, the drawing corner witnessed a large turnout from young people who were busy coloring and drawing the slogans of Founding Day, inspired by its symbols and historical connotations.
The small paintings turned into a space for free expression of belonging, through colors that carried the meanings of unity, steadfastness and pride.
In the henna corner, the children lined up to draw the symbol of two swords and a palm tree on their hands, in a clear indication of pride. With the national symbolism embodied by the emblem of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Interactive participation
This interactive participation reflected an early awareness among young people of the connotations of the national symbol, which combines strength and development, and embodies the journey of a state founded on determination and unity.
