Ajman Chamber is looking to enhance economic cooperation and investments with Nepal

Ajman, 8 January / WAM / His Excellency Sheikh Sultan bin Saqr Al Nuaimi, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Ajman Chamber, discussed with His Excellency Tej Bahadur Chhetri, Ambassador of the State of Nepal to the country, the strengthening of economic cooperation relations and the development of direct investments between Ajman and Nepal.
The meeting, which was held this morning at the Chamber’s headquarters, was attended by His Excellency Salem Al Suwaidi, Director General of the Ajman Chamber, while the Nepalese delegation included Chandra Prasad Dhakal, President of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry.
His Excellency Sheikh Sultan bin Saqr Al Nuaimi stressed that the Emirate of Ajman is keen to strengthen its economic relations with countries around the world, and to provide a sustainable investment environment that meets the aspirations of investors in various industrial, commercial, tourism, service, educational, health, real estate, and building and construction sectors.
He pointed out that the Ajman Chamber is working according to an annual plan to enhance external cooperation, open new horizons for economic and investment partnerships, support the competitiveness of the business environment, and attract quality investments, in addition to working to enable local products to reach foreign markets.
His Excellency pointed out that the economic and investment environment in the Emirate of Ajman is characterized by a set of components, the most prominent of which are the quality and speed of government services, competitive operating costs, and strategic geographic location, in addition to advanced infrastructure and flexible legislation that supports business growth and investment.
The meeting discussed prospects for joint cooperation and ways to develop mutual investments in the sectors of agriculture, education, tourism, industry, financial services, information technology, and the retail sector, and opportunities to increase the volume of trade exchange between Ajman and Nepal, in a way that serves common interests and supports the growth of business and investments between the business communities on both sides.
The meeting touched on the investment opportunities available in both Manama and Masfoot, and the Ajman Chamber invited the delegation to visit the emirate and participate in the Ajman International Education and Training Exhibition 2026.
For his part, His Excellency Tej Bahadur Chhetri stressed his country’s keenness to enhance economic and trade cooperation with the Emirate of Ajman, and explore opportunities for partnership and investment in sectors of common interest. He also invited the Ajman Chamber to visit Nepal and learn about investment opportunities.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the two sides stressed the importance of expanding areas of cooperation, exchanging experiences, and exploring promising investment opportunities, which contributes to opening new horizons for economic partnerships.
The two sides recommended the necessity of holding joint forums and events that include business owners and investors from both countries to review the available investment opportunities, and the importance of exchanging information and studies supporting the development of trade and investment relations between the two sides.
His Excellency Sheikh Sultan bin Saqr Al Nuaimi and His Excellency Tej Bahadur Shahitri exchanged shields and souvenirs.
