Dubai Chambers is organizing the “Dubai Business Forum – China” next May

Dubai Chambers announced the organization of the fifth international session of the Dubai Business Forum, the second to be held in the People’s Republic of China, in the city of Shenzhen, on May 14, 2026, with the aim of introducing the Chinese business community to the opportunities offered by the Dubai Economic Agenda “D33”.
The forum aims to open new horizons for strategic partnerships and investments between China and Dubai, as it reviews the competitive economic components that the emirate enjoys, as it is an ideal launching pad for Chinese companies wishing to expand into the fast-growing markets in the Middle East, Asia and Africa.
The forum will be held in Shenzhen, reflecting the strategic importance of the event’s location in the heart of the Greater Bay Area – Hong Kong, one of the most prominent global centers of technological innovation.
Director General of Dubai Chambers, Mohammed Ali Rashid Lootah, said that organizing the Dubai Business Forum in China, specifically in the city of Shenzhen, known as the center of innovation and technology, reflects the firm commitment to strengthening this vital economic partnership and its pivotal role in the field of the digital economy, pointing out that Al-Arf seeks, through the forum, to build practical and sustainable paths for growth, and to enable leading Chinese companies to benefit from the strategic platform that Dubai provides to support its global expansion.
He added that, based on the positive momentum achieved by the previous session in China in 2024, the forum constitutes an incentive to explore new cooperation opportunities, partnerships and joint projects that contribute to achieving the goals of the Dubai Economic Agenda, and establish the features of a new phase of shared prosperity.
The forum brings together an elite group of leaders of multinational companies, fast-growing technology companies, and emerging billionaire “unicorn” companies, along with venture capital investors and representatives of family businesses. A high-level delegation from Dubai also participates in the forum, which includes senior officials from the public and private sectors, representatives of family businesses, and senior leaders of the emirate’s business community.
The event witnesses the organization of bilateral business meetings between companies from both sides, discussion sessions covering several sectors, and constructive dialogues, with the aim of consolidating frameworks for long-term cooperation. The sessions held by the forum also provide opportunities to exchange fundamental visions and ideas in the fields of innovation, trade, the digital economy, and future industries.
Organizing the forum comes within the framework of Dubai Chambers’ efforts to expand its global network and enhance Dubai’s position as a preferred destination for foreign direct investment. The growing and accelerating presence of Chinese companies in Dubai also reflects the strength of economic relations between the two sides, as the number of active Chinese members registered in the Dubai Chamber of Commerce membership exceeded 6,190 companies by the end of the third quarter of 2025.
The previous edition of the Dubai Business Forum – China, which was hosted by the capital, Beijing, in August 2024, attracted more than 800 business leaders and investors, and resulted in the conclusion of several partnerships with leading Chinese institutions.
