The British Stock Exchange closes higher… and the pound rises against the euro

By the time the London markets closed, the pound reached (1.3572) US dollars, an increase of (0.53%), while it increased against the European currency at (1.1501) euros, by (0.13%).

In this context, the London Stock Exchange (FTSE 100) rose today by (0.25%).

The index – which includes the 100 largest companies on the London Stock Exchange – achieved gains equivalent to (26.10) points, reaching the level of (10,609.06) points.
