Dubai Police launches its carnival tomorrow at City Walk

The Dubai Police Carnival exhibition will start tomorrow in the City Walk area, as part of the Dubai Shopping Festival activities, and will last 3 days during which it will present the most prominent innovations, projects and services of the Dubai Police, in addition to entertainment activities and fun shows for all family members.
Director of the General Department of Community Happiness, Brigadier General Ali Khalfan Al Mansouri, confirmed that Dubai Police is keen to launch and organize integrated exhibitions and community events that enhance constructive communication between the security institution and society in all its categories, as an embodiment of Dubai Police’s strategic vision to enhance security and safety, and achieve the highest indicators of community happiness.
He added: “Direct interaction with the public through innovative platforms and distinguished events such as the Dubai Police Carnival not only contributes to enhancing confidence, but also opens new horizons for community awareness of the most important security and traffic services, and highlights the efforts made by Dubai Police to make the community happy and enhance its security and stability.”
The carnival showcases a number of security, traffic and community services, most notably the Dubai Police smart application, volunteer opportunities through the volunteer platform, through which the public can apply to volunteer, the housing security service, awareness of women and children’s protection rights, the electronic crime awareness platform e-Crime Hub, the police eye service for reporting violative behavior and legal violations, the lost and found service, the service for inquiring about circulars and travel bans, and the (Aman Roads) platform to enhance traffic safety, in addition to… Exhibits from the Dubai Police Museum, which highlights the institution’s journey and its security and technical history over the past decades.
The carnival will also present to the public motorcycle and bicycle performances, performances by the Dubai Police Academy’s musical band, police dog shows, luxury security tourist patrols, a virtual simulation program for the “Ghaiyath” patrol, an old Land Rover, and a Ramadan cannon, in addition to displaying special collectibles for the UAE Challenge for Tactical Teams (SWAT), including an armored vehicle and an event suit for the family.
The public will also enjoy a number of entertainment and artistic workshops through the “Makers Studio,” and children will be able to enjoy digital interactive games, sports games, puzzles, competitions, and gifts through the Khaled Children’s Magazine platform issued by the Security Media Department.
