Etihad Airways will operate direct flights to Luxembourg next October

Abu Dhabi, 9 January / WAM / Etihad Airways announced the launch of a new service to Luxembourg, making it the first airline from the Middle East to serve this country, and direct flights will begin next October 29 between Luxembourg and Abu Dhabi.
Flights will be operated three times a week using Etihad Airways’ latest A321LR aircraft.
This air route will enhance connectivity for business travelers and tourists alike, and will also contribute to consolidating economic and cultural relations between the European Union and the UAE. As Luxembourg is a major gateway to France, Germany and Belgium, this new service strengthens Etihad Airways’ presence in these broader European markets.
Antonaldo Neves, CEO of Etihad Airways, said that for the first time, it will connect Luxembourg directly to the Middle East, making Etihad Airways the only airline to offer direct flights to Abu Dhabi. This route is not limited to air connectivity only, but aims to build new bridges between Europe and the UAE, and open new horizons for business, tourism and cultural exchange.
Guests will benefit from access to Etihad Airways’ extensive global network, with seamless connections via Abu Dhabi’s state-of-the-art Zayed International Airport to a wide range of countries, including popular destinations in Thailand, Singapore, South Korea, Japan, Indonesia and India.
