SALIC warned potential investors against unauthorized advertisements and unofficial sources that may promote false information and investment opportunities in the company, stressing that it does not offer any investment opportunities via text messages or external links.

She called on individuals wishing to invest in the company’s shares to trade in SALIC shares listed on the Dubai Financial Market through the Dubai Financial Market’s application or through brokers licensed by the Dubai Financial Market.

She stressed the need to pay attention to fraudulent text messages that use the company’s name, not to share any private data, and not to click on any links attached to those messages.

SALIC presented an illustrative example of one of the commonly used messages that may seem real to the recipient, promoting an alleged investment opportunity with high returns over a short period of time, and using professional language and a design that suggests credibility. The text of the message read: “At SALIC, we are pleased to inform you of the existence of a guaranteed investment opportunity with a profit rate of up to 40% in just a few weeks! Click here to start investing.”

The company confirmed that this type of message is formulated in a professional manner that makes it appear real and convincing and aims to gain the trust of individuals and push them to click on external links or share their data, even though it is not issued by any official entity affiliated with Salik.

She stressed that investment and trading in the company’s shares takes place exclusively through the Dubai Financial Market, and through licensed brokers only, pointing out that the official channels approved for obtaining information include the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) application and the “Salik” investor relations application.
