For the first time in its history, the Dubai Chamber of Commerce will record in 2025 the highest value of its members’ exports, reaching 356.5 billion dirhams, with a growth of 15.1%.

DUBAI, 14 JANUARY / WAM / His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence, Chairman of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Dubai, praised the historical and pivotal role that the Dubai Chamber of Commerce has always played since its founding as one of the main components of the emirate’s economic structure, stressing that His Highness the Chamber’s record performance is the fruit of the future vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, May God protect him, while the achieved results reflect the depth of global confidence in Dubai’s economic system and the strength of its business community.

The Dubai Chamber of Commerce, one of the three chambers operating under the Dubai Chambers umbrella, has achieved the highest record in its history in the value of members’ exports and re-exports during the year 2025, with a value of 356.5 billion dirhams compared to 309.6 billion dirhams in the year 2024, with a growth rate of 15.1%.

On this occasion, His Highness said: “Under the leadership of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai continues to set new economic standards by creating the best supportive business environments, enacting the most advanced and flexible legislation, and building and strengthening its international relations to expand the range of opportunities supporting the sustainable growth of its partners across the diversification of their business sizes and confirming their ability to keep pace with accelerating global changes.”

His Highness added: “The Dubai Chamber of Commerce’s record results reinforce our long-term vision and contribute to accelerating the pace of progress in achieving the goals of the Dubai Economic Agenda D33… We have full confidence in the Chamber’s ability to achieve more achievements and advance its mission as a strategic platform that consolidates Dubai’s position as a global center for trade, business, investment, entrepreneurship and innovation.”

The strong results of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce come as an extension of the achievement achieved in the year 2024, when the exports and re-exports of the Chamber’s members for the first time exceeded the barrier of 300 billion dirhams, as the members of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce showed exceptional flexibility in keeping pace with the changes and overcoming the challenges that global trade faced during the past year, while diversifying export markets to serve the business community.

With 71,830 new companies joining the Chamber’s membership during the year 2025, the total number of Chamber members increased to 292,486 active companies by the end of 2025 compared to 258,318 companies in 2024, a growth of 13.2%.

During the year 2025, the Dubai Chamber of Commerce issued 852,184 certificates of origin, with an annual growth rate of 7.7%. It also issued and received 5,960 temporary entry books for goods and commodities worth 5.6 billion dirhams, with a growth of 11.2% in the number of books and 30% in their total value.

Economic leadership

His Excellency Engineer Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansouri, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Dubai Chambers, said: “Thanks to the vision and directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, may God protect him, Dubai continues to enhance its global economic leadership and consolidate its position as a pivotal center in the international financial and business system, thanks to its integrated competitive elements and advanced investment environment.”

He added: “We are keen to redouble the efforts made to develop the economic environment and establish a flexible and stimulating legislative structure that keeps pace with the aspirations of the business community and opens broader horizons for expansion in global markets. We also continue to work to support strategic partnerships locally and internationally, which contributes to achieving the goals of the Dubai Economic Agenda (D33), driving growth and consolidating the foundations of a more competitive and sustainable economy.”

During the year 2025, the Dubai Chamber of Commerce succeeded in supporting the global expansion of 130 local companies, with a growth rate of 14% compared to the number of local companies whose expansion in foreign markets was supported during the year 2024.

During the year 2025, the Dubai Chamber of Commerce, in cooperation with business groups, reviewed 54 laws and draft laws, with a rate of adoption of private sector recommendations amounting to 60%, while 250 meetings were held with business groups and councils, including the annual general meetings of the groups and councils, while the Chamber coordinated the organization of 15 meetings of business groups and councils with the relevant government agencies and departments.

During the past year, the Chamber established 5 new business councils representing the nationalities of investors from Bulgaria, Cyprus, Brazil, Slovakia and Peru. The Chamber also established a new business group, the Dubai Delivery Business Group, to represent delivery companies operating in Dubai and support their interests.

Also, the Chamber received 201 mediation cases during the year 2025 compared to 171 mediation cases it received during the year 2024, recording a growth rate of about 17.5%, while the total value of the cases amounted to more than 241 million dirhams, indicating the continued growth of confidence in the effective role of the Dubai Chambers in resolving disputes, as this role has an impact in confirming the attractiveness and stability of the business environment in Dubai. And consolidating the foundations for its prosperity.

During the past year, the Chamber organized 40 awareness-raising workshops on legal issues, in which 2,611 representatives of private sector companies operating in a wide range of sectors participated, with the aim of ensuring companies’ compliance with the laws and legislation regulating all areas of business, and enhancing their ability to adopt best practices.

With the aim of improving the integrated capabilities of all family businesses operating in Dubai to enhance their readiness for the future, the Dubai Family Business Center, which operates under the umbrella of Dubai Chambers, launched three specialized consulting services during the year 2025, including the service of assessing the current situation and reviewing the family charter, the service of drafting the family charter, and the family office planning service.

The Center also issued the first guidebook that includes an integrated register of family business consultants in Dubai, with the aim of enabling family businesses to effectively and efficiently obtain specialized advisory services in all vital fields related to various administrative and operational axes. The guide provides an effective means of developing mechanisms for linking family businesses with consultants specialized in family businesses.

Last year, the second batch of the Dubai Family Business Management Program graduated, which included 29 participants, while the Center organized 3 sessions of the Next Generation Training Program in Family Businesses with the participation of 65 participants. Also, during 2025, the Center organized 5 events within the “Governance Series”, which included rich insights from global experts and local leaders.

Last October, the Dubai Chamber of Commerce organized the “Sustainability 365” initiative with the aim of stimulating the private sector to adopt responsible business practices and support initiatives aimed at supporting sustainability in all sectors.

The “Sustainability 365” initiative forms the new identity for the “Sustainability Week” events, in celebration of the 10th anniversary of its launch in 2015 by the Business Ethics Center of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce, which embodies the Chamber’s commitment to supporting the business community in adopting sustainability as an approach to institutional work throughout the year.

During the year 2025, the Dubai Chamber of Commerce awarded the Dubai Chamber of Commerce Label in environmental, social, and governance (ESG) sustainability standards to 50 companies in recognition of their commitment to adopting responsible business practices and supporting the process of corporate sustainability. The Dubai Chamber of Commerce brand in environmental, social and governance sustainability standards aims to motivate the business community to adopt and develop practices that have a positive impact on society and the environment and to promote good governance, by appreciating the efforts made by companies to support sustainability.
