Arab geniuses are a civilizational bet on man and reason

The Minister of Cabinet Affairs and Chairman of the Supreme Committee of the Arab Geniuses Initiative, His Excellency Muhammad Abdullah Al-Gergawi, affirmed that betting on the Arab mind is the essence of the nation’s true strength, and arranging its priorities for the future.

Strategic investment
He added that honoring distinguished Arab minds represents a strategic investment in the future of the nation, and consolidating the position of the Arab person at the heart of global knowledge production.

Exceptional elite
During his speech at the opening of the ceremony honoring the winners of the Arab Geniuses Award, Al Gergawi praised a new exceptional elite of Arab minds who were able to leave their mark in multiple fields of knowledge and science.

Raida’s achievements
Al-Gergawi explained that the Arab Geniuses Award came to honor pioneering achievements in economics, natural sciences, engineering, technology, medicine, architecture, design, literature, and the arts, noting that these achievements represent authentic contributions to humanity’s scientific and cognitive journey, and reflect the ability of the Arab mind to create, innovate, and compete globally.

Resuming civilization
His Excellency stopped at the “Resuming Civilization” project launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, stressing that the project is not a passing slogan or a temporary idea, but rather a long-term vision built with patience, continuous work, and investment in people.

Science and work
He stressed that civilizations are not restored through nostalgia for the past alone, but rather through science, work, knowledge creation, and the development of human capital.

Basic pillars
Al-Gergawi pointed out that the Arab Geniuses Initiative represents one of the basic pillars of this civilizational project, by honoring distinguished minds and creating inspiring scientific and cultural role models for future generations.

At the end of his speech, His Excellency extended special thanks and appreciation to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, for his deep belief that the region’s greatest wealth is mankind, and for his great bet on the Arab mind as an engine for development and renaissance.
