"Solico" Opens its facility "Sofod" At a cost of 130 million dirhams in Jafza Dubai

DUBAI, 15 JANUARY / WAM / Solico Group, a food industry in the Middle East, announced the launch of its manufacturing facility, “Sofood”, with an investment of 130 million dirhams, in the Jebel Ali Free Zone in Dubai, JAFZA.
The initial production capacity of the new facility reaches 40 tons per day, which contributes to enhancing the flexibility of the food manufacturing sector in the UAE. The Sufood facility extends over an area of 5,000 square meters.
His Excellency Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem, Chairman of the Board of Directors and CEO of DP World Group, said that Jafza continues to attract manufacturers wishing to expand regionally and export to the world, and the Solico Group’s decision to pump its largest investments in the UAE here in Jafza reflects the strength of the industrial system in Dubai. He looks forward to seeing this project as a contributor to enhancing food security, providing quality job opportunities, and supporting the UAE’s ambition to build a competitive, value-added manufacturing sector.
