From Dubai…we are strengthening our partnerships with major international companies

His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, First Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, met today with Wang Quanfu, Chairman of the Board of Directors, CEO and co-founder of the leading Chinese industrial company BYD.
His Highness said in a blog post on his account on the “X” platform: “Today I met with Wang Quanfu, Chairman of the Board of Directors, CEO and co-founder of the leading Chinese industrial company BYD, and we reviewed ways to enhance cooperation in the automotive industry sector, especially electric and hybrid vehicles, in support of sustainable mobility solutions. We also discussed the great opportunities offered by the advanced economic environment in the UAE and the many economic incentives that Dubai offers based on its growing role as a global center for innovation and investment.”

His Highness continued: “From Dubai, we strengthen our partnerships with major international companies, and in the UAE the future of sustainability is created globally.”
