The SWAT 2026 Challenge attracts new international entries

The seventh edition of the UAE Challenge for Tactical Teams “SWAT 2026”, scheduled to be held from February 7 to 11 at the Al Ruwayyah Training City in Dubai, has attracted new entries.
Teams from Bolivia, El Salvador and the Dominican Republic, along with a women’s team from China, have registered to participate for the first time in the global event.
Dubai Police stated that these teams confirmed their readiness to take on the five challenges, which bring together the elite specialized police teams from various countries of the world.
The participating teams praised the idea of the challenge, which is considered one of the most prominent global competitions concerned with specialized tactical teams, because it provides a platform for exchanging knowledge and administrative, cognitive, and field experiences, and raising the efficiency of executing tasks accurately, quickly, and skillfully within a specific time frame.
The “Emirates Tactical Teams Challenge” aims to enhance the exchange of experiences, learn about the latest international practices in the work of rapid intervention units, and measure levels of readiness and efficiency in dealing with various challenges, through five daily challenges whose points are calculated up to the highest overall total to determine the winning team, while allowing the public to attend the competitions.
