“Khalifa of Humanity” and “Pure Gold” provide travel tickets for those released who are unable to bear the costs of returning to their countries.

The Khalifa Humanitarian Foundation announced its cooperation with the “Pure Gold” group in a humanitarian initiative aimed at providing travel tickets for those released who are unable to bear the costs of returning to their countries after the end of their sentence, as part of their joint efforts to support the most needy groups in society.

Within the framework of this initiative, the total number of those released during the year 2025 reached 2,821, while the number of beneficiaries of the “Pure Gold” initiative to provide travel tickets for those released reached 1,983 people.

On this occasion, the Director General of the Khalifa Humanitarian Foundation, Muhammad Haji Al-Khouri, said: “Our cooperation with the ‘Pure Gold’ group comes as a reflection of our commitment to building qualitative, fruitful partnerships that unite the efforts of the charitable and humanitarian work sector and the private sector, through an integrated and thoughtful work model that takes advantage of the resources of the two sectors and harnesses them to serve humanity. Hence this purposeful social initiative that addresses a very important issue and an urgent humanitarian need, as it contributes to the return of those released to prison.” Their families and communities, which enhances their social and psychological stability and enables them to resume their lives as productive and active individuals in their countries. The Foundation continues its pioneering role in launching initiatives that translate social responsibility into practical initiatives with a sustainable development impact.”
