"Nekomatic" French displays advanced electrical interconnection solutions during "UMEX and SEMTEX"
ABU DHABI, 21st January, 2017 (WAM) – The Necomatic Group, the international French company specialized in manufacturing high-tech electrical interconnection solutions, during its participation in the UMEX and SimTEX 2026 exhibition, presented a group of its advanced solutions and customizable designs, while strengthening its industrial capabilities within the Emirates.
Olivierre Mallard, the company’s regional sales director, said in a statement to the Emirates News Agency, WAM, that local production in the Emirates began 18 months ago, and is in line with the “Made in the Emirates” and “Product in the Emirates” initiatives, with the aim of developing the company’s capabilities and supporting the local industry, while the Emirates Innovation Group helped the company to further localize its projects within the country.
Mallard pointed out that the company is working to develop its capabilities in the Tawazun Industrial Complex in Abu Dhabi, and that its primary expertise lies in manufacturing rectangular connectors, whether plastic or metal, with low-frequency, high-power, or high-frequency contacts.
He explained that the company is able to integrate all signals into one connector, with the ability to customize it like a Lego game, which distinguishes its solutions from others.
He added that the company decided to manufacture the circular connector, given that it is the most in demand in the military equipment industry and the most widely used in defense applications, while localizing its production within the Tawazun Industrial Complex with the help of its partner, the Emirates Innovation Group.
Mallard confirmed that the Nekomatic Group designs and manufactures connectors and cables for difficult environments, explaining that what is meant by these environments are those that are exposed to high vibrations, high temperatures, and devoid of oxygen, such as the fields of defense, space, and aviation.
