Sisi and Trump discuss ending the Sudan war and the Nile water issue

He met with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi, today, US President Donald Trump, on the sidelines of his participation in the annual meeting of the World Economic Forum 2026, in the Swiss city of Davos.

During the meeting, they discussed cooperation relations between the two countries and ways to enhance them in various fields, in addition to reviewing joint efforts to end the war in Sudan within the framework of the work of the Quartet, and the issue of the Nile waters as an existential and pivotal issue for Egypt.
