Trump threatens to strike Iran 20 times if it disrupts the flow of oil in Hormuz
The US President warned Donald Trump confirmed that the United States would respond with overwhelming force if Iran disables the flow of Oil via The Strait of Hormuz.
He said Trump in a post on the platform "Truth Social" Today, Tuesday, any move by Iran to stop the movement of oil in the Strait will be met with American strikes "20 times harsher" From any previous strikes on Tehran.
He added: "Iran will suffer death, fire, and fury if it stops the flow of oil from the Hormuz"indicating that the United States may target what he described as"Targets that are easy to destroy"which may make it difficult for Tehran to rebuild its capabilities as a state"
Ensuring the continued flow of oil
The US President indicated that ensuring the continued flow of oil through the Strait represents a gift offered by the United States to countries that rely heavily on this vital sea lane, including China, expressing at the same time his hope that there will be no escalation that leads to such a confrontation.
Earlier today, the US President threatened Iran with a greater attack if it obstructed oil supplies, the prices of which have risen due to the war in the Middle East.
He said in a press conference from Florida: "I will not allow a terrorist regime to hold the world hostage and try to cut off the world’s oil supplies, and if Iran takes any such action, it will be hit much harder.".
