Ankara announces the deployment of the Patriot defense system in central Türkiye in light of the Iran war

Türkiye announced on Tuesday the publication of The Patriot defense systemin the center of the country, the day after NATO intercepted a second ballistic missile launched from Iran into Turkish airspace.

A statement by Turkish Ministry of Defense That "The Patriot system tasked with supporting the protection of our airspace is being deployed in Malatya". The area includes the Korgik Air Base, where a NATO early warning radar system is located that is capable of monitoring Iranian missile launches.
