Dubai Chambers discusses trade and investment cooperation with Serbia

Dubai Chambers discussed ways to enhance economic cooperation with the Republic of Serbia, during the activities of a trade mission it organized to the Serbian capital, Belgrade, recently, with the aim of developing bilateral relations in a wide range of sectors of common interest.
The trade mission to Serbia was headed by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Dubai Chambers, Engineer Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansouri, in the presence of the Director General of Dubai Chambers, Mohammed Ali Rashid Lootah, within the framework of the “Corridors of Growth” initiative aimed at consolidating the frameworks of trade and investment cooperation between Dubai and global markets, and opening new opportunities for economic partnerships.
Chairman of the Board of Directors of Dubai Chambers, Eng. Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansouri, said: “The growing cooperation relations between Dubai and Serbia reflect the shared commitment to building new horizons for trade and investment exchange,” pointing out that the visit represents an opportunity to enhance dialogue between the two business communities, and explore ways to develop strategic partnerships that support common economic goals and contribute to creating quality opportunities and developing vital sectors.
During the visit, the Dubai Chambers delegation held a series of meetings and roundtable discussions to discuss the prospects for enhancing cooperation with a number of Serbian entities and institutions, which included a meeting with the Ministry of Internal and Foreign Trade of the Republic of Serbia, where the two sides discussed the prospects of pushing bilateral investment and trade ties to broader and more diversified paths in light of the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement between the UAE and Serbia, with a focus on a number of priority sectors.
The Dubai Chambers delegation held a roundtable discussion with the Serbian Chamber of Commerce and Industry with the participation of seven of the most prominent entrepreneurs in the field of business technology in Serbia. During the mission’s activities, a roundtable discussion was organized with both the Belgrade Science and Technology Park, which supports emerging companies to transform innovations into commercial projects and products, and the Innovation Fund in Serbia, which provides grants and financing programs to support innovation, applied research, and innovative technological projects. The chamber delegation also met with the Serbian Development Agency, the government agency concerned with supporting and attracting direct investment, promoting exports, and enhancing competitiveness and development.
It is noteworthy that the value of non-oil trade between Dubai and Serbia reached 335.8 million dirhams in 2024, with an annual growth of 43.5% compared to 2023, while the number of Serbian companies registered with the Dubai Chamber of Commerce continues to increase, as 109 Serbian companies joined the chamber’s membership in 2025, bringing the number of active Serbian companies registered in the chamber’s membership to 308 companies by the end of 2025, with growth. 36.9% on an annual basis.
