Dubai Police receives more than 61,000 calls during the Eid Al Adha holiday

The Dubai Police General Command, represented by the management of the Command and Control Center in the General Department of Operations, and the Call Center (901) in the General Department of Administrative Affairs, received 61,042 calls during the Eid Al Adha holiday, with 55,325 calls to the emergency number 999, and 5,717 calls to the number 901 designated for non-emergency cases.
The Director of the Command and Control Center in the General Department of Operations, Colonel Bilal Juma Al Tayer, praised the efforts of the employees of the Command and Control Center and the 901 Call Center, in responding to customers’ calls and inquiries immediately and with high professionalism, which reflects the directives of the Dubai Police General Command in responding quickly to calls to enhance security and safety and working to make community members happy.
He urged the public to call (999) in emergency cases only, and to call (901) in non-emergency cases and in case of inquiring about the services provided by Dubai Police to community members.
For his part, Director of the Customer Happiness Center at the General Department of Administrative Affairs, Abdullah Ibrahim, explained that during the Eid Al Adha holiday, the 901 Call Center received 5,717 calls to the number (901), 1,724 e-mail messages, and 265 inquiries and conversations through the “chat” service on the Dubai Police website, stressing that the e-mail and “chat” services enable customers to obtain immediate answers to their inquiries. And their suggestions, by the specialized employees in the call center.
