Nahyan bin Mubarak attends the Indian Embassy’s ceremony on the occasion of Republic Day
Abu Dhabi, January 27 / WAM / His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, yesterday evening, attended the reception held by His Excellency Dr. Deepak Mittal, Ambassador of the Republic of India to the UAE, on the occasion of his country’s 77th Republic Day.
The ceremony, which was held in Abu Dhabi, was also attended by a number of senior officials and heads of Arab and foreign diplomatic missions accredited to the country, in addition to a number of Emirati and Indian businessmen and members of the Indian community residing in the country.
In his speech during the ceremony, His Excellency Dr. Deepak Mittal stressed his great pride in the presence of His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, expressing his thanks to the UAE for the great interest it attaches to promoting the values of tolerance and coexistence, and for its continued support for bilateral relations between the two countries.
He pointed out that this occasion allows India to celebrate a distinguished strategic partner, the UAE, which has achieved exceptional achievements over more than five decades that are an inspiring model in the comprehensive development process, thanks to the vision of its wise leadership, which does not wait for the future but rather creates it.
He stressed that the comprehensive strategic partnership between the UAE and the Republic of India is based on common ambition and vision, and that the UAE-Indian relations are solid and based on trust and common ambition, expressing his confidence that the two countries are moving together towards a more prosperous future.
