conclusion "Dubai Water Sports Festival" With the participation of 154 contestants from 31 nationalities

Dubai, January 27 / WAM / The Dubai International Marine Sports Club concluded the activities of the “Dubai Water Sports Festival”, which extended over a week of sports competitions and community interaction, and was held on the beaches of Dubai in Jumeirah and Jebel Ali, with the participation of 154 male and female competitors representing 31 nationalities.

The closing day witnessed the organization of the Dubai Kayak Fishing Competition, in addition to the second round of the Dubai Stand-up Paddling and Kayak Race, which were held on Jumeirah Beach.

The Dubai Kayak Fishing Competition was characterized by strong competition and wide participation of 70 male and female contestants, led by participants from the Emirates, along with contestants from the Philippines, Jordan, Pakistan, Ukraine, Egypt, India, Iraq, Iran, Bangladesh, Greece, Malaysia, France, and the Sultanate of Oman.

The second round of the Dubai Stand-up Paddling and Kayak Race also witnessed the qualitative and strong participation of 27 competitors from the Emirates, Tunisia, Morocco, Spain, Syria, Hungary, Kenya, the United Kingdom, Thailand, Poland, France, Serbia, South Africa, and the Philippines.

Mohammed Hareb, Member of the Board of Directors and Executive Director of the Dubai International Marine Sports Club, accompanied by Mohammed Al Marri, Director of the Club’s Sports Affairs Department, crowned the first place holders at the conclusion of the competitions.
