The implementation of the second phase of the localization of dental professions begins with a minimum of 9 thousand riyals #Urgent

The Ministry announced Human Resourcesand Social Development, in partnership with the Ministry of Health, the implementation of the second phase of the decision to raise Nationalizationof dental professions in the private sector, as of 01/27/2026 AD.
This decision comes within the framework of the efforts of the two ministries aimed at enhancing the participation of national talents in the labor market, and providing stimulating and productive job opportunities for male and female citizens in various regions of the Kingdom, in support of the objectives of the labor market strategy, and enhancing the quality of health services in line with the objectives of the health sector transformation program, emanating from the Kingdom’s vision. 2030.
55% Saudization
The second phase applies to all private sector establishments that employ 3 or more workers in dental specialties with a 55% Saudization rate.
According to the procedural guide, for a Saudi doctor to be counted among the Saudization rates, his monthly wage registered with Social Insurance must not be less than 9,000 riyals, and he must obtain valid professional accreditation from the Saudi Commission for Specialties.
Procedural Guide
The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development confirmed that it has published procedural guides on its website to clarify the details of the decision and the required Saudization rates, calling on all establishments to adhere to the application in order to avoid the statutory penalties imposed on violators.
For its part, the Ministry of Health has confirmed the continuation of supporting and developing national competencies in the health sector, as part of its strategic objectives to establish a sustainable health system, enhance the sustainability of the health workforce, and the quality of Services provided.
This decision comes as a continuation of the efforts to nationalize health professions, as the Ministry of Health is responsible for following up on the implementation of the decision in a way that suits the needs of the labor market.
Private sector establishments benefit from the support programs and incentives provided by the human resources and social development system, which include support for the processes of recruitment, training, qualification, employment, and career continuity, in addition to priority in benefiting from nationalization support programs and the programs of the Human Resources Development Fund “Hadaf.”
