“Tenders”: 1.4 million dinars for engineering services to implement the advanced control system for “Bapco Refining”

The Tenders and Auctions Board opened the envelopes of 6 general tenders, offering 62 different bids, including a tender to Bapco Refining Company, where the company wants to obtain engineering services to implement the advanced process control system (APC), real-time process improvement (RTO), and artificial intelligence (AI) technologies, in addition to providing engineering support services for process control and technical training courses.

She indicated that implementation orders for projects or services will be issued based on a lump sum price, a fixed price, or the number of working hours, as she obtained 6 bids, the lowest of which was 1.4 million dinars.

In another tender for Bapco Refining, the company wants to supply valves for the CDU 4A crude distillation unit, SWM unit 2, 5HP boiler, LSFO thermal igniter, HDU unit 2, and SRU unit 3 2026-2027.

The company stated that it aims through this tender to ensure the timely availability of all specified valves to support planned shutdown activities and scheduled maintenance work during the years 2026-2027, as it obtained 9 bids, the least of which amounted to 123 thousand dinars.

On the other hand, the Ministry of Public Works issued a tender to develop the skid path on Istiklal Street (near Alba Interchange), indicating that the works include establishing a rainwater drainage network, providing side sidewalks for pedestrians, laying ground channels for use by services in the future, lighting works, and providing traffic signs and information boards necessary to achieve the required security and safety on the road. It received 13 bids, the least of which amounted to 234 thousand dinars.

In turn, the Information and e-Government Authority wants to supply high-quality office furniture, designed according to standards of functional comfort, and deliver it to the new building of the Information and e-Government Authority (iGA), install it, place it in the designated locations, and ensure its full operation. The Authority required the contractor to provide all necessary accessories, tools and manpower, explaining that the duration of the contract was five (5) years, as it received 16 bids, the least of which amounted to 27 thousand dinars.

Bapco Gas Company issued a tender for air conditioning maintenance services, and received 11 bids, the lowest of which amounted to 509 dinars.

In turn, “Bapco Exploration and Production” issued a tender to collect and sell scrap materials, explaining that the effective disposal of scrap materials resulting from the company’s operations is necessary to maintain optimal workflow and reduce environmental impact.

Bapco identified the need to systematically manage the accumulation of mixed metal scrap, including light and heavy materials of various sizes and shapes, whether covered, or containing deposits, in addition to polycore pipes with different specifications, as it obtained 7 bids, the lowest of which amounted to 138 dinars.
