Under the patronage of the President of the State.. Khalid bin Mohammed witnesses the graduation ceremony of the Police College

Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, witnessed today the graduation ceremony of the 37 candidate courses, the 40 male and 24 female university graduates, along with a number of students delegated from brotherly and friendly countries, in addition to students from the International Program for Affiliates of the International Association of Police Chiefs, in the presence of Lieutenant General His Highness Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior.
The total number of graduates in the batch from various tracks reached 456 students, including 12 from sisterly Arab countries, and 52 from the fourth batch of the international program for members of the International Association of Police Chiefs from 35 countries from around the world, emphasizing the pioneering role of the UAE in supporting international cooperation and exchanging experiences in the fields of police and security work.
His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan congratulated the graduates, wishing them success in their professional careers, stressing the importance of employing the experience, knowledge and advanced skills they have acquired to support the modern police work system, and keeping pace with the rapid transformations in various security fields, especially related to the integration of digital technologies, solutions and artificial intelligence into various aspects of police work, which contributes to the consolidation and sustainability of the community security system.
The ceremony began with the parade queue entering the square, where the police band played the national anthem of the United Arab Emirates. This was followed by a military parade in which the graduates demonstrated the high leadership and disciplinary skills they had acquired during the years of training and qualification at the college.
His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan honored the outstanding graduates of the 37 candidates’ course, as His Highness handed the sword of honor to the nominated student, Obaid Khalifa Obaid Al Kaabi, who came in first place in the general overall, and first in academic sciences, infantry, weapons and shooting.
From the university course, His Highness honored the nominated student, Mayed Issa Yousef Al Suwaidi, for getting first place in the general overall, while the nominated student, Salama Atiq Muhammad Obaid Al Dhaheri, got first place in the general group for the 24th university course.
His Highness also honored the nominated student, Ibrahim Abdel Baset Muhammad Al-Sawalma, from the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, for obtaining first place in the general group of students delegated from sisterly Arab countries.
Among the friendly countries, His Highness honored the nominated student, Enar Vic Valencia Flores, from the Republic of the Philippines, for obtaining first place in the general aggregate (international) in the undergraduate batch, and the nominated student, Paige Clesti Holijn, from the United States of America, for obtaining first place in the general aggregate within the international program for members of the International Association of Police Chiefs.
The Commander of the Police College, Brigadier General Walid Salem Al Shamsi, gave a speech in which he expressed the college’s pride in graduating a new batch of sons and daughters of the nation, stressing that the graduates carry the trust of a nation that follows the path of rational leadership that has made security and stability a basis for development and prosperity.
He pointed out that the graduation of this batch of citizens of the country, along with their colleagues from brotherly and friendly countries, reflects the advanced position that the Police College enjoys regionally and internationally, in light of its cooperation with the International Association of Police Chiefs, and its recruitment of students from various continents of the world, stressing that the graduates of the Police College embody the harvest of training and effort, and the fruits of sincere will, as knowledge mixed with skill, discipline and loyalty, to be a shield for the nation in the face of… Challenges.
The college commander extended his thanks and appreciation to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, “may God protect him,” for his unlimited support for the Police College, and to His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan for honoring the college and attending the graduation ceremony, and to Lieutenant General His Highness Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan for his direct follow-up and continuous support, stressing the renewed pledge and loyalty to the wise leadership, and the continuation of efforts aimed at training and qualifying cadres. Police according to the highest standards and levels.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, the college flag was handed over from the graduating class to the next class, marking the continuation of the college’s mission and its path in preparing future police leaders. Then the flag salute was played, and the graduates chanted a chant of loyalty to His Highness the President of the State, “May God protect him,” after which memorial photos of His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan were taken with the graduates.
It is noteworthy that the Abu Dhabi Police College adopts in its academic and training programs the latest curricula and practices followed globally, and employs modern technologies and artificial intelligence solutions in preparing and qualifying security cadres, and enhancing scientific and leadership skills, in line with the UAE’s directions in building an advanced security system capable of anticipating the future and consolidating the foundations of security and stability.
