The Eleanor Crook Foundation supports the “End of Life” campaign with 4.6 million dirhams

The Eleanor Crooke Foundation announced its contribution of $1.25 million (4.6 million dirhams) in support of the “End Life” campaign to save 5 million children from starvation, which was launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, “may God protect him,” in conjunction with the holy month of Ramadan, to raise at least one billion dirhams to be invested in combating child hunger in the world.

The Eleanor Crook Foundation’s contribution comes within the framework of the charity race that was launched with the start of the “End of Life” campaign to save 5 million children from starvation in conjunction with the holy month. Contributions from individuals, institutions, private sector companies and the business community continue to support the campaign, which is being implemented in partnership with the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), Save the Children, the Children’s Investment Fund Foundation, and Action Against Hunger.

The President and CEO of the Eleanor Crooke Foundation, William Moore, appreciated the lofty goals of the “End Life” campaign to save 5 million children from starvation, and its endeavor to develop realistic solutions to eliminate child hunger, which begins with an urgent response to confront this global challenge by mobilizing efforts and resources to ensure that food reaches children in less fortunate communities around the world.

He said: “We, at the Eleanor Crook Foundation, are honored to join these blessed efforts of the UAE community to enable the (End of Life) campaign to save 5 million children from starvation, to reach its goals. This is part of our humanitarian duty and societal responsibility, and an expression of our great appreciation for the (Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives) Foundation and its pioneering role in combating child hunger.”

The “Edge of Life” campaign to save 5 million children from starvation continues to receive contributions from institutions and individuals through 7 main channels, which are the website dedicated to the campaign www.edgeoflife.ae, and the campaign’s call center on the toll-free number 8004999. Contributions can also be made through bank transfer to the campaign account (IBAN No: AE940340003708472909222) in the Emirates Islamic exchange in UAE dirhams.

The “Limit Life” campaign to save 5 million children from starvation allows you to contribute via SMS text messages by sending the word “Life” or “LIFE” through the “Du” and “e&” networks in the Emirates to the numbers: 1034 to donate 10 dirhams, 1035 to donate 50 dirhams, 1036 to donate 100 dirhams, and 1038 to donate 500 dirhams.

You can contribute to the “End of Life” campaign to save 5 million children from starvation through the “Dubai Now” application, under the “Donations” category.

You can also contribute to the campaign via the YallaGive.com website under the “Donations” category, or by creating a special wallet for institutions or individuals on the Dubai platform for community contributions, “Jood.” Jood.ae.
