His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, First Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, said through his official account on the “X” website: “Today, the World Government Summit 2026 begins in Dubai, where ideas are created, tomorrow’s trends are created, and ambition for a better world is established.”

His Highness continued, saying: “Here gather more than 60 world leaders, more than 500 ministers, and 87 Nobel laureate scientists and the highest international awards to write tomorrow’s policies, build future systems, and redefine the roles of governments and shape the global future.
