Reflects the visit of the Turkish President The Islamic world and its international political and economic standing, and the keenness of the leadership of the two countries to enhance communication and coordination on files and issues of common interest regionally and internationally.
The visit gains special importance in light of the high regional and international standing that the Kingdom and Turkey enjoy, by virtue of the Kingdom’s sponsorship of the Two Holy Mosques and the two countries’ membership in the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and the G20, and the Kingdom and Turkey are influential players in the Middle East region and at the international level.
The visit of the President of Türkiye to the Kingdom coincides with his meeting with His Royal Highness bin Abdulaziz Al Saud Prime Minister – may God protect him – with the developments the region is currently witnessing, which requires consultation and coordination between the leadership of the two countries in a way that enhances regional and international security and stability.
Saudi-Turkish Coordination Council
In this context, the two countries agree in their position on the necessity of resolving crises and ending differences by peaceful and diplomatic means through dialogue, facilitating appropriate conditions to achieve regional and international security and stability, and not harming The sovereignty of the countries of the region, and the emphasis on the unity and integrity of their territories.
At the level of relations between the two countries, the official visit of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz – may God protect him – to Turkey in April 2016, and his meeting with President Erdogan, culminated in the announcement of the establishment of the Saudi-Turkish Coordination Council with the aim of enhancing joint cooperation in the fields of politics, diplomacy, economics, and military industries. A protocol was also signed to amend the minutes of the establishment of the Council in 2016. 2024 AD, with the aim of developing bilateral cooperation and joint coordination in various files.
As a culmination of the path of cooperation between the two countries in the defense and military field, the Ministry of Defense in the Kingdom and the Turkish Ministry of Defense signed the executive plan for defense cooperation between the two countries, which aims to enhance cooperation in the fields of production and development of defense military industries, exchange of experiences, and transfer and localize technologies for defense and military production.

The two countries also seek to raise the pace of cooperation in the commercial and investment sectors, support opportunities for economic integration in a number of targeted sectors, develop a fertile and stimulating investment environment for the private sector, and research and explore the most prominent investment opportunities offered by Vision 2030 and the major projects launched by the Kingdom.
An attractive investment environment
And the two countries signed the agreement on A memorandum of understanding for cooperation in direct investment will help create an attractive investment environment in attracting about 390 Turkish companies to invest in the Saudi market. The Saudi-Turkish Business Forum, which was held in November 2024, witnessed the signing of 10 agreements in a number of investment fields.
The volume of trade exchange between the Kingdom and the Republic of Turkey in the year 2024 witnessed a remarkable growth, exceeding $7.47 billion. The volume of trade exchange between the two countries in the year 2025 AD (until the end of the third quarter) reached 6.3 billion dollars.
The two brotherly countries seek to strengthen trade and economic relations between them, and work to grow and develop them in a way that is commensurate with their international economic standing.
