Dubai is an advanced model in using technology to facilitate passenger movement

Emirates Airlines President, Sir Tim Clark, said that Dubai is an advanced model in using technology to facilitate the movement of passengers, noting that the emirate has been able to implement advanced solutions that allow passengers to pass to and from without any interference, thanks to the use of biometric systems and modern technological platforms.
“We have been trialling these systems in Dubai for years, and we are progressing rapidly,” Clark said during a session at the World Government Summit. “We can pass people to and from Dubai without any kind of physical intervention, and this model can be implemented in other countries around the world.”
Clark pointed out that Dubai’s strength lies in the agreement of the concerned authorities to develop airport infrastructure and operating systems, stressing that the technology available today is capable of simplifying check-in procedures, passport control, and central inspection, making the traveler’s experience smoother and more efficient.
Clark emphasized that challenges at airports are often the result of differing agendas between local authorities, such as police, security, and airport management, but stressed that “technology exists, and you can use it to achieve a seamless travel experience.”
He touched on travel experiences in European airports.
Clark stressed that success in implementing these technological solutions does not require waiting for the future, saying: “If we move at the speed we must, there is no reason not to solve these matters, taking advantage of the computing power and technologies available today.”
