Abdullah bin Zayed receives the Minister of Foreign Affairs of North Macedonia and they sign a memorandum of understanding between the two countries
Dubai, 4 February / WAM / His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, received His Excellency Temko Mochoński, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade of the Republic of North Macedonia.
His Highness welcomed His Excellency Temko Mochoński, and during the meeting, which was held on the sidelines of the World Government Summit 2026 in Dubai, bilateral relations between the two countries and opportunities to enhance joint cooperation in a number of sectors, including economic, trade, investment, energy, and artificial intelligence, were discussed.
The two sides also reviewed a number of topics on the agenda of the World Government Summit, and exchanged views on the importance of this international event in enhancing cooperation and exchanging experiences between governments.
During the meeting, His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan stressed the UAE’s keenness to strengthen cooperation relations with the Republic of North Macedonia, in a way that supports the development visions of the two countries and their efforts to achieve sustainable economic prosperity.

The meeting was attended by His Excellency Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al-Zeyoudi, Minister of Foreign Trade, His Excellency Saeed bin Mubarak Al-Hajri, Minister of State, His Excellency Omran Sharaf, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for Science and Advanced Technology, and His Excellency Abdullah Ali Al-Sabousi, non-resident ambassador to the Republic of North Macedonia.
