المملكة: Urgent: King Salman Relief Centre.. Saudi humanitarian efforts are a global model of solidarity


In the context of celebrating the International Day of Human Fraternity, which falls on February 4th of each year, Humanitarian efforts for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Saudi Arabiaas a global model that embodies the values of solidarity and interdependence among peoples, and consolidates the principles of human brotherhood.

The Kingdom has implemented (8,749) humanitarian, development and charitable projects in (175) countries around the world with a value exceeding (145) billion US dollars, reflecting its humanitarian mission emanating from its noble values, based on serving man and preserving his dignity.

The Kingdom established King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Aid to be its humanitarian arm to provide aid to millions of needy and affected people around the world without discrimination.

Supporting Palestinian Families

Since its establishment in 2015, the Center has provided (4,183) projects in various vital sectors in (113) countries, including Palestine, Syria, Yemen, Sudan, and Somalia, with a value exceeding (8) billion and (325) million Dollars.

Within the framework of international achievements, the Kingdom ranked second globally and first in the Arab world among donor countries in providing humanitarian and relief aid for the year 2025 AD, according to the United Nations Financial Tracking Platform (FTS).

The King Salman Relief Center also won many awards and honors, including the Family and Child-Friendly Institutions Award for the year 2024 AD presented by the General Secretariat of the League of Arab States, in appreciation of its efforts to support Palestinian children and families in Conditions of occupation.

Global Humanitarian Achievement

The Center also received the Global Humanitarian Achievement Award presented by the National Council on American-Arab Relations, for its outstanding contributions to relief and humanitarian work at the international level, in addition to obtaining the international ISO certificate (SO 8000-1:2022) in data quality in the Saudi aid platform, as one of the first Saudi entities to obtain this international accreditation in this field, as confirmed by the ISO.

The Saudi Conjoined Twins Program is part of the noble humanitarian fraternal initiatives offered by the Kingdom through the King Salman Relief Center. Since 1990 AD, the program has succeeded in conducting (67) separation operations and evaluating (155) cases from (28) countries on (5) continents around the world, and at the initiative of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the United Nations adopted November 24th as the International Day for Conjoined Twins.
