"Ajman businesswomen" Organizes a forum "Tomorrow’s makers"

Ajman, February 8 / WAM / The Ajman Businesswomen Council organized the “Tomorrow’s Makers” Forum to support women’s industrial entrepreneurship and enhance the Council’s role in creating a sustainable industrial system for male and female entrepreneurs.

During the forum, the Council launched the “Takamul” initiative for women’s industrial entrepreneurship, to provide an integrated industrial platform that contributes to transforming ideas into innovative and sustainable industrial projects, in addition to highlighting the role of the initiative in enhancing cooperation and partnerships between the Council and government and private agencies concerned with developing the industrial sector.

The forum, which was held at the Fairmont Ajman Hotel, was attended by Engineer Aisha Khalfan bin Badr Al Nuaimi, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Ajman Business Women Council, and members of the Board of Directors, along with officials of the Emirates Development Bank, representatives of government agencies, a number of factory owners and managers who are members of the Ajman Chamber, and businesswomen who are members of the Ajman Business Women Council.

Dr. Amna Khalifa Al Ali, President of the Ajman Businesswomen Council, said that the Council attaches special importance to women’s industrial entrepreneurship with the aim of supporting and empowering female entrepreneurs, and enhancing their contributions to the development of the industrial sector, by facilitating access to financing and technical support, acquiring administrative and financial skills and expertise, and expanding product markets through specialized exhibitions and marketing platforms, in a way that contributes to achieving the goals of Ajman Vision 2030.

For her part, engineer Aisha Khalfan bin Badr Al Nuaimi said that the launch of the “Takamul” initiative for women’s industrial entrepreneurship came in line with the Council’s efforts, in conjunction with the “Year of the Family 2026,” to contribute to enhancing the economic and social stability of women and the family in general, pointing out that the initiative provides a sustainable platform for training and capacity building.

In turn, Iman Obaid Al Som, Secretary General of the Ajman Businesswomen Council, stated that the “Takamul” initiative for women’s industrial entrepreneurship focuses on three main sectors, namely textiles, food, perfumes and cosmetics, and aims to provide an industrial environment that depends on providing supportive tools and means for launching industrial projects and building a network of relationships supportive of the women’s industrial entrepreneurship sector.

Khaled Makled, Secretary General of the Arab Federation for Entrepreneurship, presented a session entitled “From a Small Idea to a Promising Industrial Project,” in which he reviewed the elements of feasibility studies for industrial projects, the opportunities of small industries for businesswomen, and the secrets of success and product development.

The forum included a session entitled “Gateway to Industrial Opportunities with Suppliers,” during which factory owners participating in the forum presented a set of success stories and mechanisms for developing products and expanding their markets, in a way that enhances the exchange of knowledge and experiences between female industrial entrepreneurs and participating factories.

Maryam Saif Al Nuaimi, Executive Vice President of Distribution and Services at the Emirates Development Bank, gave a presentation on the financing opportunities and support mechanisms available to female entrepreneurs, which contribute to empowering them and enhancing their ability to develop their industrial projects. She explained to the attendees the “EDB 360” system and platform dedicated to entrepreneurs in the Emirates.
