Starring Fahd Al-Qahtani and Abdullah Miteb.. "Kahilan" A drama of conflict, love and intrigue

About two centuries ago, in a tribal world governed by customs and the logic of power in central Najd, the fuse of conflict ignited in Saudi drama. "Kahilan" Between two Bedouin knights linked by blood and separated by ambitions for leadership, while threads of love and intrigue creep in to add fuel to the fire of a conflict with undesirable consequences.

Kahilan will show “blood mingling with sand,” where battles are not decided with swords only, but also with the decisions of women inside closed tents, and with painful coups between brothers and cousins, when the meanings of kinship are lost in the face of the cruelty of life.

Great conflicts

Fahd Al-Qahtani presents the character of Sattam, the fighting knight who carries the spirit of the colonel and the cruelty of the field, stressing that the role was frightening for him because of the depth of the contradictions and psychological motives that govern the character.

As for Abdullah Miteb, he presents the character of Muslat, one of the most complex characters in the work, who experiences great conflicts between the ambition for the sheikha and the desire for silence, within a dramatic line that clearly depends on action and escalation.

Within the world of tribes, the role of sheikhs is highlighted as an essential element in igniting or containing conflict.
