The Head of State and the President of Finland discuss by telephone the relations of the two countries and regional developments

Today, during a phone call, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, and President of the Republic of Finland, Alexander Stubb, discussed various paths of development cooperation and joint work between the two countries and ways to enhance and push them forward for the benefit of their peoples.
During the call, the two sides stressed their mutual keenness to push Emirati-Finnish relations towards broader horizons, especially in the fields of economy, education, advanced technology and artificial intelligence, in addition to space, innovation, sustainability and other fields that serve the common development priorities of the two countries and achieve the aspirations of their peoples for progress and prosperity.
His Highness the President of the State and the President of Finland also reviewed a number of regional and international issues of common interest and exchanged views on them, most notably the developments taking place in the Middle East region and the efforts made towards them, stressing the importance of working to strengthen the causes of peace and stability at the regional and global levels, and settling disputes through dialogue and diplomatic solutions in the interest of everyone, based on the two countries’ approach to supporting cooperation, peace and development in the world.
