Sharjah:"1.39" One million dirhams in center revenues "production" During 2025
Sharjah, February 10, 2020: The revenues of the “Intaj” Center of the Department of Social Services in Sharjah at the level of its affiliated families reached one million and 393 thousand and 86 dirhams during the year 2025, while the number of its members reached 118 members.
The number of the center’s participation in local exhibitions in Sharjah and its branches reached 5,742 participants, in addition to 4,079 participants in craft workshops and rehabilitation and training programmes.
Maryam Al Hammadi, Director of the “Intaj” Center, confirmed that the center witnessed significant development in 2025 in terms of the diversity of activities, including the introduction of modern technologies such as 3D printing, laser engraving, and digital embroidery, with the aim of supporting members’ creativity and achieving a sustainable income for them.
He pointed out that the number of female members who obtained an accreditation license from the Sharjah Department of Economic Development reached 31 members, which allows them to participate and organize exhibitions, while the affiliated families benefited from 3,942 marketing services for their products through 9 points of sale.
She noted that one of the most prominent initiatives witnessed in the year 2025 is the center’s online store, which enables home entrepreneurs from productive families to display and market their products through an integrated digital platform, which enhances the economic independence of families and provides an easy shopping experience for consumers in the local market.
