"Sharjah libraries" It will reveal its cultural and community activities during February 2026

Sharjah, February 12 / WAM / Sharjah Public Libraries revealed that its cultural and community program for the month of February 2026 includes a series of reading, educational, creative and heritage activities held in various libraries in the emirate and cultural and community sites, in addition to a special session within the “Writers in the Spotlight” programme, targeting multiple age groups, including late and emerging childhood, adolescents, adults and families.

These activities come within the framework of the role of Sharjah Libraries as active community knowledge centers that seek to consolidate reading, stimulate interactive learning, enhance cultural and human values, and link knowledge to identity, innovation, and family communication.

Within the framework of the “Writers in the Spotlight” program launched by Sharjah Public Libraries with the aim of shedding light on the most prominent literary and intellectual publications in a way that contributes to enhancing cultural mobility and developing reading taste in society, Sharjah Libraries will organize next Sunday a dialogue session hosting writer Hilda Youssef at the “Literary Café” in Al Heera, Sharjah.

Sharjah Libraries offers children a series of activities that combine storytelling, discovery, and movement at Wadi Al Hilo Library, Dibba Al Hisn, and Kalba Library.

Sharjah Libraries target young people and adolescents with programs that focus on innovation, skills development, and building scientific and artistic awareness, including the “World of Amazing Phenomena” workshop at Kalba Library.

Sharjah libraries provide adults with a rich intellectual and cultural space through reading clubs and literary and artistic evenings, the most prominent of which is the “How to Think Like Leonardo da Vinci” event, which is organized on February 22 at the Dibba Al Hisn Library. Kalba Library also organizes the “Ramadan Summer Nights” evening on February 21 at the Sheikh Saeed Al Qasimi House Museum.

Sharjah libraries pay special attention to the family and community interaction by organizing activities that bring together various family members in warm cultural spaces. Wadi Al Helo Library organizes the “Ramadan Notes” event at the Lammah Baraka Ladies Club, while the Khor Fakkan Library organizes the “Mothers Make an Impact” event in your life. The agenda also includes the “Discover Me with Love” event, organized by the Al Dhaid Library in cooperation with the Family Development Foundation at the Family Development Theater – Al Dhaid, in addition to the “My Story with My Grandfather” event, organized by the Sharjah Library at the headquarters of the Department of Social Services.
