Sultan Al Shamsi participates in the meeting of the Rome Track Steering Committee

Rome, February 13 / WAM / His Excellency Sultan Mohammed Al Shamsi, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for Development Affairs and International Organizations, participated in the meeting of the Rome Process Steering Committee.

During the meeting, 13 projects were approved in the fields of migration, security, economic development, climate and energy in a number of African countries.

The pivotal importance of the “Mattei Plan Financing Facility for the Rome Track” was also emphasized, which Italy established in cooperation with the UAE and the African Development Bank, as a tool for co-financing the approved initiatives.
