His Excellency discussed during his meeting with the European Commissioner for Mediterranean Affairs; Ways to enhance bilateral economic cooperation and expand the horizons of partnership between the Kingdom and the European Union, stressing the Kingdom’s support for regional and global economic security, and its keenness to raise the level of coordination in files of common interest, in a way that enhances economic stability and flexibility towards global changes and transformations.
In his meeting with the European Commissioner for Trade and Economic Security, Minister Al-Khorayef discussed the prospects for cooperation in the fields of trade, enhancing the security of global supply chains, and securing supplies of critical minerals, in addition to exploring opportunities for integrating industrial value chains between the Kingdom and European Union countries, and expanding joint investments in sectors. Priority.
The two meetings come within the framework of the visit of His Excellency the Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources to the Kingdom of Belgium, which aims to exchange experiences, enhance joint cooperation with European countries in advanced industries, and attract quality investments to the Kingdom, in a way that supports the objectives of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
