ABU DHABI, 14th February, 2018 (WAM) – His Highness Sheikh Nahyan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, congratulated the national company “Thahra”, which organizes the Formula 1 Etihad Airways Grand Prix in Abu Dhabi, on the occasion of achieving a double achievement, represented in obtaining the title of best organizer of Formula 1 races for the year 2025, in addition to recording the highest number of international visitors to Abu Dhabi in the history of the event.
His Highness stressed that this success reflects the level of continuous professional work in providing an integrated global experience, which included developing the hospitality system, enhancing sustainability initiatives, and enriching the entertainment program in accordance with the highest international standards, which contributes to consolidating Abu Dhabi’s position as a leading global sports destination and a role model in organizing major international events.
His Highness pointed out that this achievement embodies the integration of national efforts and commitment to the highest standards of quality and excellence, and enhances the capital’s presence on the map of major sporting events, stressing the importance of continuing to work in a single team spirit to preserve gains and enhance future successes.
