Explain Saudi Civil Defense announced that an alert was issued from the National Early Warning Platform in emergency situations in Eastern Region To warn of a danger, and if you receive warning messages from the National Early Warning Platform in emergency situations, you must do the following:

  • Remain calm and follow official instructions.
  • Immediately go to the nearest safe place inside a building or indoor room away from windows, and stay there until the danger has passed.
  • Do not leave the house or building until The danger has passed.
  • Stay away from open places and glass, and do not stand on balconies or roofs.
  • If you are outside, enter the nearest building, or take cover behind a solid curtain.
  • Avoid gatherings and photography at all, and stay away from dangerous sites.
  • When the warning message arrives while you are in the vehicle, stop on the side of the road away from bridges and tall buildings.
  • When you notice danger, call the emergency number (911) in the areas Makkah Al-Mukarramah, Medina, Riyadh, and Al-Sharqiya, and (998) in the rest of the regions of the Kingdom.
  • Taking instructions issued by the competent authorities through official channels.

Civil Defense also announced that the danger had passed from the region, stressing the need for residents to continue to follow its instructions, avoid gatherings or photographing emergency sites, and in the event of any emergency, they can call the number (911).

The National Early Warning Platform, using the cell broadcast service, aims to Enhancing the effectiveness of early warning methods in emergency situations.
