“Salik” applies a new fee schedule for irrigation tariffs during Ramadan… daily free periods before the morning

SALIC, the exclusive operator of toll gates in Dubai, announced the implementation of a special toll tariff for the holy month of Ramadan 2026, which includes amendments to transit fees through the toll gates during peak and off-peak periods, with the aim of achieving traffic flow and taking into account the privacy of the holy month.
According to the new tariff, fees will be charged from Monday to Saturday at 6 dirhams during peak hours extending from 9 am to 5 pm, while outside peak times (from 7 am to 9 am and from 5 pm to 2 am) the fees are 4 dirhams, while transit is free during the late night period from 2 am to 7 am.
On Sunday (excluding official holidays and public events), fees will be 4 dirhams during peak hours from 9 am to 5 pm, as well as 4 dirhams during off-peak hours from 7 am to 9 am and 5 pm until 2 am, while the exemption from fees continues during the period from 2 am to 7 am.
These amendments come within the framework of Salik’s keenness to provide greater flexibility to drivers during the Holy Month, and to support traffic management in a way that suits changing transportation patterns and work schedules.
