"Abu Dhabi Securities" and"Al Ramz Capital" They enhance investment culture
Abu Dhabi, February 17, 2017 / WAM / The Abu Dhabi Securities Market Group, in cooperation with Al Ramz Capital, launched the Al Ramz Investment and Trading Competition, which is considered the first of its kind in the region, and aims to enhance strategic financial planning practices and establish a culture of long-term saving and investment.
This initiative comes in the form of a practical and direct trading competition in the capital market, allowing investors of all levels, whether beginners or professionals, to apply their investment knowledge and develop their skills in a real environment, with the opportunity to win up to one million miles per month from the Etihad Guest program.
All participants can benefit from the market’s website to view market data reports, follow the performance of securities listed on the Abu Dhabi Securities Market, and obtain investment insights that support the preparation of their strategies and enhance their trading skills.
The initiative includes a competitive reward structure that is awarded monthly in recognition of the best investment performance in the Abu Dhabi Securities Market. The participating investor who achieves the highest monthly return in the market receives one million miles within the Etihad Guest program, which is enough for several first-class trips to New York and London, while those ranked second to tenth receive monthly prizes ranging between 100,000 and 500,000 miles within the Etihad Guest program.
The competition reflects the strong performance of companies listed on the Abu Dhabi Securities Market, which continues to achieve profitable dividends and solid performance, supported by the resilient economic foundations of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and the UAE. In 2025, companies listed on the market distributed 74 billion dirhams in cash dividends, recording a growth of 9.4% on an annual basis.
To ensure equal opportunities among all participants, the results will be calculated based on the time-weighted return, which is a criterion that focuses on the efficiency of investment decisions and trading skill, independent of the size of the invested capital.
The competition is held monthly over a period of three months, and is available to all investors who have an active trading account with Al Ramz Capital, without requiring a minimum investment value.
